How can one book make me smile and cry at the same time. Fell me heart but also break it. I loved Luke and Joce, but the end was rushed,too rushed.
David and Eddie broke my heart, it's so unfair that they were both alive, madly in love after all these years, but didn't know the other one is alive, until it was too late, I cried reading the few chapters Eddy wrote, when she first met David. She is one amazing and strong woman. They should have been together.
The story is around David and Eddy, uncovering the family secrets, but there wasn't enough time and chapters for the other love story do develop, it ended abruptly.
This is actually the first book of the author I give 4 stars to. I liked it a lot, but it was so so sad.
