Yona's Book World

Hello. My name is Yona and I'm a total book lover. I'm 19 years old.

I don't have a favorite genre it all depends on my mood, but I read mostly romance and paranormal. I live near a mountain and I really enjoy the nature that is all around me. . I'm born in the winter, 18th of November to be exact ;d my zodiac sign is Scorpio (♏) My favorite thing to do is reading books and talking about them. Favorite quote: "So many books, so little time." — Frank Zappa

I have two cats and I love them very much, but they just hate to be ignored especially when I'm reading something, one of them tries to eat my books quite often if i ignore her :D  I studied Biology and English in the university but I changed my major to Ethology and I find it more to my taste :D

“I am a forest, and a night of dark trees: but he who is not afraid of my darkness, will find banks full of roses under my cypresses.” — Friedrich Nietzsche

Before The Moon Rises (Ritter Werewolves, #1)

Before The Moon Rises (Ritter Werewolves, #1) - Catherine Bybee Too short and not entirely to my taste.

He Ain't Lion (Ridgeville, #1)

He Ain't Lion (Ridgeville, #1) - Celia Kyle I liked the storyline, but nothing else was fully developed, everything was way too rushed even for a short 63 pages long story.

Fury of Fire (Dragonfury Series)

Fury of Fire - Coreene Callahan, Benjamin L. Darcie Not very impressed and I couldn't stand the female characters.

Untitled (Songs of Corruption #1)

Spin - C.D. Reiss description

This book rocked my world. I absolutely LOVED IT~!!!!!!!!

Short-Straw Bride

Short-Straw Bride - Karen Witemeyer One lovely story.

Only by Your Touch

Only By Your Touch - Catherine Anderson This book was magical, I absolutely loved it.
Separate Beds - LaVyrle Spencer It was not what I expected but not bad at all. I enjoyed reading it quite a bit.
I had just one small problem - in the beginning there wasn't a year and a city. We have this marriage, ruined reputation, professions relaying on high moral and in the same time cars and dishwashers and new times. Everything suggests historical romance it's not.
And the loss of epilogue, I like to know where the story is going.

Despite those stuff - it was one perfect read for the rainy day.

Morning Comes Softly (Avon Romance)

Morning Comes Softly - Debbie Macomber This book was really really sweet and very enjoayble.

Short Straw Bride (Harlequin Historical, 339)

Short Straw Bride - Dallas Schulze It would have been 4 stars if the female character wasn't so annoying, her reactions were just ridiculous...

Montana

Montana - Debbie Macomber For a big part of the book I had a problem with Molly and the way she acted, but as I continued to read I was very satisfied with how she changed.
And I have to say I loved the end.

Larkspur Road (Lonesome Way)

Larkspur Road - Jill Gregory I liked it, but it was a bit too sweet.

Delicious (The Buchanans, Book 1)

Delicious - Susan Mallery This was one really sweet story, about second chances and forgiveness.

Tallie's Knight (Readers Choice) (Harlequin Regency Romance)

Tallie's Knight - Anne Gracie I know the heroine is supposed to be a naive virgin with no idea about anything but Tallie took it a bit far. And her constant daydreams and night dreams with knights and pirates were very annoying. It took almost the whole book for her to grow up a bit.

I was going to give it 3 stars, but I liked the end so 3.5 - 4.

Unexpected

Unexpected - Lori Foster It was a little strange at first but I liked it.

Angel's Peak (Virgin River Novels)

Angel's Peak - Robyn Carr I expected a lot more from this book. The writing style wasn't one of my favorites and there were too many side stories with other characters that just got me confused. Only half the book was about the main characters.

I loved the storyline but I guess the book wasn't my type of read.

The Baby Bargain

The Baby Bargain - Jennifer Apodaca I had some issues with the dialog between the characters, but the book wasn't too bad.
