Yona's Book World

Hello. My name is Yona and I'm a total book lover. I'm 19 years old.

I don't have a favorite genre it all depends on my mood, but I read mostly romance and paranormal. I live near a mountain and I really enjoy the nature that is all around me. . I'm born in the winter, 18th of November to be exact ;d my zodiac sign is Scorpio (♏) My favorite thing to do is reading books and talking about them. Favorite quote: "So many books, so little time." — Frank Zappa

I have two cats and I love them very much, but they just hate to be ignored especially when I'm reading something, one of them tries to eat my books quite often if i ignore her :D  I studied Biology and English in the university but I changed my major to Ethology and I find it more to my taste :D

“I am a forest, and a night of dark trees: but he who is not afraid of my darkness, will find banks full of roses under my cypresses.” — Friedrich Nietzsche

Skin Game (Berkley Sensation)

Skin Game - Ava Gray This was one strange book, but I liked it and I'm not sure what that says about me.

We have a fugitive and a hit man thrown together in one very interesting situation.

I loved Reyes from page one, I have to say he is my kind of a man, his profession is his way of relieving the world from criminals and people who need to be punished ;d
Kyra was a bit annoying a lot of the time and way to stubborn, but it kept her alive after all and end was very nice so I don't mine all that much.

So yeah, I guess I liked it.

Betrayed: A Cyn & Raphael Novella (Vampires in America, #5.5)

Betrayed: A Cyn & Raphael Novella (Vampires in America, #5.5) - D.B. Reynolds I liked it but the end was unsatisfying. It's Cyn we are talking about, and she never ever let's go so easily.

Hunted: A Cyn & Raphael Novella (Vampires in America, #6.5)

Hunted: A Cyn & Raphael Novella (Vampires in America, #6.5) - D.B. Reynolds Short, but to the point. MMmm Rafael <3

Jabril

Jabril - D.B. Reynolds Loved it, I want more Raphael and Cynthia. They are very likable characters and their story is far from finished.

Raphael

Raphael - D.B. Reynolds This one is starting as one very nice and promising new series.

I hoped to read about the same couple in all the books - but they have only two, still I enjoyed it a lot and i will most definitely read more

The Inn At Eagle Point (Chesapeake Shores)

The Inn At Eagle Point (Chesapeake Shores) - Sherryl Woods It wasn't one of my favorites - too much points of view and useless information. The main story didn't feel in the center of things and I can't say I loved the end.

Barely a Lady (The Drake's Rakes series)

Barely a Lady - Eileen Dreyer I liked it, but it felt like the spark in the book was missing.

Laird of the Mist (Warner Forever)

Laird of the Mist - Paula Quinn This book was lovely and very enjoyable. For once the heroine thinks before she starts with the accusations and listens to reason and the truth. It was very refreshing.

Angel's Rest: An Eternity Springs Novel

Angel's Rest - Emily March Te book wasn't bad, but there was too much side information , which annoyed me quite a bit.

Highland Surrender

Highland Surrender - Tracy Brogan Yes!!! Finally a good historical with a normal writing style and nice not annoying characters.

Highland Grace (Highlands Trilogy, #2)

Highland Grace (Highlands Trilogy, #2) - K.E. Saxon As much as I try, I just can't get used to this writing style, it's too strange for me.

Highland Warrior (Campbell Trilogy, #1)

Highland Warrior (Campbell Trilogy, #1) - Monica McCarty I liked the storyline, but the book not so much.

Jamie Campbell was perfect , but Caitrina not so much. What he saw in her I will never know, till the very end of the book,( the last page...) she was acting like a little spoiled girl, who never thought of what she was saying or doing. She hurt Jamie countless times and she couldn't even promise not to do it again.

The end was nothing special, just an end.

Devil in a Kilt

Devil in a Kilt - Sue-Ellen Welfonder Boring, very very boring.......... i'm not even sure how I managed to read it without skipping.

Transcendence

Transcendence - Shay Savage description

I absolutely loved this book. I was very excited to start it, because in many books the characters act like caveman and feel like them, but to actually read about a real one was amazing!!!!!

Ehd - he is the sweetest, most caring male character/caveman. To read about the primal urges to love, protect and care was something that I won't forget.

Ehd lost his whole tribe in a forest fire and was alone for a long time and almost lost his will to live, but that changes when a very strange woman fell in his trap. One look at her and Ehd knew he had found his mate.

The way he cared for Beh, fed, clothes and loved her makes you wish to go back in time and found a caveman for yourself. I smiled trough the whole book. Okey I admit that I may have cried in the end, because it was so beautiful, but sad in the same time, but it was just impossible not to.

“Ehd luffs Beh.” <3<3<3<3<3

This book warmed my whole life and left me smiling like a lot lot :D :D
